Job Summary
We are looking for a Field Service Technician to install, service and support various systems in the natural gas industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the industry and be a self-starter with attention to detail. This is a full-time position for a high growth company.
Responsibilities
Work on ATEX equipment in the field
Commission and install new equipment on customer sites in compliance with industry best practices.
Service systems in the field as a part of scheduled or emergency maintenance
Support customers in the UK in regard to the various systems and field issues
Ensure a high quality of service to the customer and adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures.
To participate in the cleaning and preparation of equipment and supplies to maintain a clean and organized work area to maximize productivity
On-Call phone & field support
Basic Qualifications
2+ Years of recent experience as a field service technician or similar
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
Proven ability as a fast-learner and self-starter with a high level of attention to detail
High level of mechanical and electrical aptitude
Good verbal communication skills
Experience with odorant is a plus
Ability to understand and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, able to advise clients on the drawings and specifications.
Strong communication skills and excellent team working attributes.
Full driving license (maximum 3 points/no disqualifications).

Key Competencies
- HNC / HND in either Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related subject.
