Description

DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our client's team. As a family-owned staffing company, we are dedicated to finding the best talent to support our clients' accounting needs. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, such as preparing financial statements, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1yearof experience in Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in accounting software, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
