STARS deliverables and management

  • Management of STARS data and relevant administration

  • Create and update training activities in STARS (Training certifications, Certification pathways, Course establishment align with central and global training team)

  • Course offering will include web-based eLearning, webinar (virtual classroom training) instructor-led classroom training and Train-the-Trainer sessions are included.

  • Coordinate with training lead to generate training schedule (Classroom training, Virtual Instructor Lead Training, special activities etc.)

  • Booking and confirm training rooms as training schedule and set up in STARS.

  • Announcement training schedule at least 4-6 weeks prior to the course scheduled date by Notification email or dealer bulletin or Newsletter to Dealerships include List of training venues (location and hotels)

  • Monitor and ensure all enrolments are registered in STARS (send SMS reminder to learners prior to course commencement date, this function is available in STARS)

  • Follow up by calling in case seat available not meet class size.

  • Coordinate with market (FSE / ZM) to follow up dealership/technician to enrollment as their technician development plan.

  • Monitor and control the class size and class fill rate in a timely manner as per the requirements.

  • To ensure that the courses meet the minimum numbers (sufficiently full) within 14 working days prior to course.

  • Where this is not the case, the STARS Admin is to contact the relevant Technical Training manager(s) responsible for the technical training course to coordinate notification of postponement or cancellation via STARS to dealership. Timely notification is to avoid incurring unnecessary expenses.

  • Tracking class fill rate and processing of No-show/late cancellation penalties (if have)

  • Provide Technician Register sheet for attendant in classroom.

  • Manage training materials readiness for classroom training (Printing for Student Guide, student worksheet, Test)

  • Manage to order meals, coffee break for trainees prior training date. (Applicable for market that has complimentary lunch & snack)

  • Update training attendance & student completion details to ensure the training history data and learner records in STARS are up-to-date and accurate.

  • Collect evaluation summary for eLearning/webinar, and classroom training via the ATS reporting site and forward to relevant Training lead/managers(s) responsible for technical training analysis on follow-up actions required.

  • Issuing of certificates / letter to Certified Technician (Printing and sending the certificate to Certified Technician)

  • Advise or Teach Dealer STARS admin or internal user (such as FSE/TAC/ZM), how to use STARS correctly

  • Provide helpdesk service to dealers on STARS enquiry (e.g., reply to STARS enquiry via generic STARS email address or phone number) in timely and accurately manner.

  • Add/change dealer admins.

  • Activate/in-active dealership employees.

  • STARS ID/password recovery

  • Status change for individual on online course completion

  • Confirmation of learners’ enrolment

  • Coordinate ad hoc events/projects as required by management.

  • Update the training materials in Sharing systems to ensure availability of the training materials when training sessions take place.

  • Support market management for ad hoc data analysis and report as request.
