Job Description:

  • Product Designer position to work closely with product owner, product manager and business stakeholders to understand business vision, gather requirements and break it down to actionable artifacts for IT development team.

  • This position is also expected to do business area research, conduct requirement workshops, and support prototype/proof-of-concept efforts.

  • Work with Product Manager to synthesize project details & product requirements within the boundaries of technical platform.

  • Produces HMI/UI/UX sketches, visual designs, mock-ups, work flows, interactive prototypes, wireframes, style guides, and other artifacts to be used in the development process.

  • Manage timelines and expectations for requirements documentation & design deliverables.

  • Present design work early and often to key stakeholders in design reviews.

  • Plans and conducts usability testing to validate designs and/or user needs.

  • Works hands-on with team members and stakeholders to resolve questions, clarify designs, and deliver products.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field like information systems, graphic design

  • 5+ years of Information Technology experience with minimum 2 years as Product Designer

  • Domain experience within Automotive, Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk & Performance areas

  • Solid experience in Requirements Gathering, UX/UI Product Design, Wireframing, Prototyping

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver requirements and product design milestones using Agile methodology.

Other preferred requirements:

  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with a curiosity and can-do attitude towards complex requirements.

  • Knowledge of Prototyping tools like Figma or Invision

  • Strong Communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Background working through iterative product design cycles.

  • Experience working in cross functional global team environment.

  • Strong desire to solve problems, move projects forward and be proactive.
