Logitech Senior Salesforce Developer - Marketing in Chennai, India

The Role :

The Senior Salesforce Developer, will work as part of the IT Enterprise Applications team to implement Marketing platforms such as Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP).

  • Collaborate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and IT subject matter experts to support the day to day operational and project releases in Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engagement, and Marketing Cloud Personalization, etc….

  • Partner with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architects to fulfill solutions by working with developers and other team members to deliver within project and operational release timelines.

  • Be a part of IT Enterprise Applications team and work with the IT and Business Groups to analyze and review business, functional, and technical requirements & issues, scope effort, plan and execute future releases

  • Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries, reporting project status as required

  • Assist in documenting technical solutions for new projects and integrations while assisting with the existing technology portfolio through proposing improvements and alternatives

  • Guide development team on solution delivery primarily on the Salesforce platform based on business requirements using SFCC Marketing CLoud and development patterns, Support existing integrations between Salesforce and other boundary systems using Salesforce & 3rd party APIs, develop new interfaces as needed

  • Document and develop code according to specifications and standards

Key Qualifications :

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 8+ years of development in the IT Industry.

  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP)

  • General expertise with a wide variety of marketing technology including Content management platforms, Customer relationship management platforms, Experience management software, Email marketing tools, E-commerce and Mobile tracking software, Product information Master, etc..

  • Solid understanding of web technologies, such as HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, CSS and a strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and programming concepts

  • Expertise in designing, planning, implementing, and governing against enterprise information technology development including documentation

  • Excellent verbal, active listening and written communications skills that should be equally effective with IT, marketing, and sales

  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize among competing tasks and assignments

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with a diversely distributed global IT and business team members

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Certifications or equivalent in; Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization, Data Management Platform

  • Experience with managing implementations that span multiple countries and locales, working with translation management software to manage global content

  • Knowledge of Integration/Middleware tools such as Workato, MuleSoft

  • Work experience in the following ares; RESTful APIs, SDK’s, UML, SQL, SOQL, SOSL, APEX, AMPscript, SSJS, GTL, HTML, CSS, Javascript
