Logitech Senior Full stack developer in Chennai, India

The Role:

The Senior Full stack developer will work as part of the Enterprise Application IT team to support and enhance the Etail implementations that integrate web-based applications with a diverse range of services for Logitech. This position will be located in Chennai, India.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Cloud Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and IT subject matter experts to support the day to day operational and project releases for various integrations between web-based applications with a diverse range of services and intelligent backend systems.

  • As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the frontend and backend components of our platform. .

  • Be a part of IT CRM team and work with the IT and Business Groups to analyze and review business, functional, and technical requirements & issues, scope effort, plan and execute future releases

  • Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers, quality control, and across other technology team boundaries, reporting project status as required

  • Assist in documenting technical solutions for new projects and integrations while assisting with the existing technology portfolio through proposing improvements and alternatives

  • Guide development team on solution delivery primarily on the existing Etail suite and development patterns, Support existing integrations and new integrations as well.

  • Document and develop code according to specifications and standards

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • At least 8+ years experience working in the IT industry

  • 6+ years of experience developing Node.js.

  • Familiarity with development of backend services using Nest.js framework.

  • Experience working with databases such as MySQL,Postgres or MongoDB.

  • Experience working in web application frameworks including React.js and Next.js

  • Proficiency in cloud-based DevOps practices specifically in Terraform

  • Expertise in containerization with Docker and orchestration tools in AWS

  • Proficiency in designing and implementing GraphQL schemas

  • Experience with GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client

  • Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Jest.

  • Understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps principles.

  • In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies like CSS, HTML and JavaScript.

  • Knowledge of database technologies and agile development methodologies.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Experience in the following technologies

  • Redis

  • PyTorch

  • pHash

  • OpenCV

  • Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and prioritize among competing tasks and assignments

  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently without constant supervision and micromanagement

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to collaborate with Global IT and business team members

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong customer service mentality while being curious, methodical, rational, analytical, and logical.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or higher or equivalent
