Your day at NTT DATA

The Network Analyst is responsible for developing artifacts related to a component of the Product/Application, executing the network design, and performing corrective maintenance as per the relevant artifacts. The role also includes upholding Prodapt's winning values and working in a way that contributes to the company's vision.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration & Configuration:

  • Administer and configure NBA tools to monitor, analyze, and secure network traffic.

  • Customize dashboards, alerts, and reports according to organizational requirements.

  • Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting for NBA-related issues and network anomalies.

  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to resolve complex network problems efficiently.

  • Performance Monitoring:

  • Continuously monitor network performance, detect anomalies, and address potential security threats.

  • Implement performance tuning measures and optimize the NBA tool settings for enhanced performance.

  • Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of NBA configurations, troubleshooting steps, and network behavior analysis.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of NBA tools with other network security and monitoring systems.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

  • Updates & Maintenance:

  • Stay updated with the latest features, best practices, and updates for the NBA tools in use.

  • Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to NBA tools to ensure system stability and security.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with NBA tools such as InsightIDR, Cisco Secure Network Analytics, AlienVault OSSIM, ManageEngine NetFlow Analyzer, Arbor Sightline, Flowmon ADS, or Vectra.

  • Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, traffic analysis, and network security.

  • Proven experience with administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of NBA tools.

  • Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA, or equivalent) are a plus.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
