Job Summary

The successful candidate will have experience in the following critical domains and have a history of working with the following Data Center Tools & Skills: • Scripting in Python and Java Script Object Notation • Experience using and supporting Linux Operating Systems • Experience using and supporting Windows Operating Systems o Services – validate state, starting/stopping, Log on as… o Common Command Prompt knowledge – ping, tracert, ipconfig… o Disk Manager, Server Manager, Task Manager, Task Scheduler o Event Management Investigation / Logfile review • Experience troubleshooting device connectivity issues using Windows & Linux • Effective problem-solving skills using toolsets such as Grafana to resolve root cause. • Work closely with users to understand their requirements, share knowledge, and evangelize cloud-native standard methodologies.

  • Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Work with both internal and external groups to ensure OS and Application patching is being completed and any security vulnerabilities are being addressed.

  • Troubleshoot & resolve or escalate application or end user issues.

  • Work with senior Engineers to develop Technical Documentation for consistent repeatable processes.

  • Keeps current with technological developments within the industry. Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Utilizes JSON, SQL, or Scripting (as needed) to create data portability between Applications

  • Qualifications2+ years experience in Scripting2+ years experience OS Support – both Linux & WindowsGood understanding of DNS, TCP/IP (addressing and Subnetting), SNMP, Active Directory configurations, protocolsUnderstanding of MIB files, usage, and OIDs
