Job description: C11 – Developer - Java/J2EE
Internal audit systems are used by Auditors as a tool to enable third line of defense of Controls for Citi Processes. These systems provide workflow management and audit lifecycle monitoring facilities. Platforms also provide configurable rules which are evaluated against predefined datasets to get results which facilitate Auditors to carry out Audits smoothly.
We are looking for hands on J2EE developer with strong experience in development and implementation of enterprise applications. Candidate should be able to design and develop business modules independently using J2EE and related frameworks. Role demands strong understanding of standard development practices and implementation strategies. Person should have exposure to server-side coding and design principles and interactions with RESTful communication with UI frameworks and Database. Knowledge on UI technologies is an added advantage
This role involves working as a part of distributed teams and demands strong writing, communication, time-management skills along with good technical skills.
Required skills :
Strong understanding of core java, collections and multithreading
Experience in core J2EE, Spring, Hibernate development
Working knowledge in RDBMS
Strong knowledge of Design patterns/techniques
Strong logical abilities and problem solving skills
Working knowledge of build and configuration tools like Maven
Desired skills :
Experience in Angular is an added advantage
Strong writing, communication, time-management skills
Familiar with standard SDLC and Agile processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field preferred
- 7 to 9 years
