Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.

We are looking for Partner Cloud Solution Architect (PSA) with a passion for delivering customer success by working with Global System Integrators (GSI), and Advisory partners. PSAs play a crucial role in building world-class solutions and practices across Microsoft solution areas, with the GSI partners. By providing deep technical guidance the PSA helps partners evolve their business solution portfolio using Microsoft AI and Cloud technologies. As a PSA, you will guide the development of business solutions, provide deep technical insights, and accelerate the growth of Microsoft Tech priorities across Azure, CoPilot, Gen AI, Security, Business Applications and modern work. You will work closely with partners to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, and guide them through architectural design sessions, developing proof of concepts, and help them transition from legacy systems to modern cloud environments, ensuring that their solutions are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Partner Transformation, Strategic Programs and Solution Development: Accelerate partner transformation and growth by leveraging the Microsoft cloud value proposition & increase partner portfolio capabilities with key Microsoft innovations. Aid partners to develop and implement high quality solutions and/or services leveraging Microsoft’s latest technologies

  • Technical Leadership: Develop and maintain depth and breadth of technical and professional skills, along with business acumen and industry knowledge. Have expert level knowledge in at least one designated solution area and at least three product areas within that solution area: Infrastructure, Data & AI, Digital and App Innovation (Developer), Security, Modern Work (Microsoft 365 etc.), and Business Applications (Dynamics, Power Platform etc.). Have intermediate level knowledge or better in at least one other solution area and at least one product area within the solution area(s), including AI. Have at a minimum basic knowledge of all other solution areas as evidenced by training, certification, and hands-on experience. Actively participate and contribute to relevant internal and external technical communities.

  • Enablement Execution: Lead and/or contribute to the delivery of workshops, bootcamps, and trainings necessary to build partners’ technical skills

  • Technical Engagement: Lead deep technical engagements, including Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons

  • Best Practice Sharing: Collaborate with Microsoft’s Engineering teams to generate technical insight and enable best practices sharing

  • Evangelism: Evangelize partners’ practices and solutions in customers’ implementations via Technical briefings and Architecture Review Sessions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

  • OR equivalent experience

  • OR master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 3+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, product development, or related technical/sales experience

  • 6-10+ years of related experience in technology IP solutions or services development, with a deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, and emerging cloud trends like generative AI and SaaS (Software as a Service) services.

  • Strong background and in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft's cloud offerings (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365).

  • 4+ years’ experience working on technical projects (Minimum L300 knowledge). Proven ability in designing and deploying solutions, particularly in areas such as CoPilot, Gen AI, Security Foundation, Business application, Modern work, and Migration, along with knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures for integrating on-premises workloads with Azure resources.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

  • OR equivalent experience

  • 4+ years’ experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external)

  • 4+ years’ experience working on technical projects

  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)
