Key job responsibilities

Primary task

People Management

Leading and developing an operation team; responsible for the overall performance management, coordination and evaluation of the team

Coaching team members to deliver high performance and mentoring employees with high growth potential.

Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Amazon’s policies and procedures; additional responsibilities include interviewing, training, planning and assigning work, reviewing employee performance, and conflict resolving.

Communicating policies to associates as the primary information source for staff, effectively managing various talent cases.

Ensuring team behavior compliance and implementing corrective action.

Business Management

Managing team SLAs (Service Level Agreements), quality, productivity and leading the team to meet the goal.

Leading the team to drive seller/vendor experience.

Trouble shooting the problems/escalations raised by the team member, assisting them to resolve the issues.

Driving process improvement and continuous improvement culture through ‘kaizen’ and lean projects

Co-wrokring with other partner teams such as Sales team, Tech team, Finance team and PM team etc. to ensure exception resolved and project managed.

Any Add-hoc task assigned by leaders.

Basic Qualifications

  1. University graduation with more than 5 years working experiences of international forwarding

  2. Good understanding of International transportation practice

  3. Proficient written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese

  4. Experienced in team management

  5. Strong sense of responsibility and ownership to meet deadlines, maintain a strong attention to detail, and work as a team member

  6. Strong data skill and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Quick and keen learner

  2. Good project management skill

  3. Customer oriented mindset

  4. Trade lane knowledge of CN-US / EU / JP / AU

  5. Strong data skill and analysis

  6. Experience with training others.
