Responsibilities Serving as a Equipment Facilities and Services Assistant GS-1603-6/7 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located within the Cheltenham Administration Division (CAD) under the Mission and Readiness Support Directorate (MRSD) and located in Cheltenham, Maryland. The primary purpose of this position is: Assists Facilities Supervisor, mechanics, technicians, staff, and others by performing a full range of support functions either as completed actions or as a foundation for further operations. Schedules, monitors vehicle/equipment maintenance, develops, maintains reports using developed metrics and analyzes maintenance requirements for all vehicle/equipment assets using the Vehicle Management Information System (VMIS) and other locally developed tracking mechanisms. Serves as a Government purchase cardholder and processes division purchase card transactions. Performs a variety of administrative, clerical, office automation duties, and technical support functions for the Facilities and Automotive functions. OR Successful completion of six months of graduate-level education (9 semester hours) from accredited college or university that is directly related to the work of the position to be filled. GS-07 You qualify for the GS-07 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as: maintaining schedules for maintenance and/or physical facilities, and experience preparing routine reports; composing narrative and statistical input; responding to general and specific technical inquiries; and/or tracking and adjusting work orders. OR Successful completion of six months of graduate-level education (18 semester hours) from accredited college or university that is directly related to the work of the position to be filled.
