JOB SUMMARY:

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance programs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Must be able to wire equipment and plant according to the NEC.
  • Able to operate all hand and machines tools, including welders.
  • Able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, OEM instructions and specifications.
  • Able to troubleshoot and make repairs to complex equipment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device.
  • Basic problem-solving skills.

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • ? Ability to be trained for forklift and scissor lift 

     

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, 20lbs constantly
  • Occasionally be able to do the listed activities
    • Moving to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another,
    • Communicating with others to exchange information,
    • Operating machine and/or power tools
    • Work in noisy environments
    • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like
    • Moving self in different position to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight spaces
    • Remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
    • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
    • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
    • Work in high and low temperatures

SCHEDULE IS MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 3RD SHIFT- 11 PM -- 7:30 AM

  • Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week
  •  3rd shift pays an extra 8% on hours worked
