Position Classification: Temporary Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5:30pm | No Weekends, holidays, or evenings.

What you'll do

The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support under the supervision of the Executive Director.   

  • Assist management with scheduling needs such as interviews, meetings, and appointments. 
  • Take meeting minutes.
  • Prepares reports and financial statements as requested by the Executive Director. 
  • Provides coverage for the receptionist at the front desk. 
  • Assist with mail distribution.
  • Maintains master lists of contacts and documents. 
  • Communicate compliance issues or other concerns. 

What it takes

  • High School diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of progressive executive assistant or administrative assistant experience. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with older adults. 
  • Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, and organized. 
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Computer skills, preferably with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong data entry skills with the ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate clearly and tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the public.
