Overall Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse operations for safe storage, retrieval, and shipment of raw materials, packaging, and finished products. Ensure compliance with safety, legislative, and organizational policies, aiming for efficient customer order fulfillment.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with various departments for seamless operations.
- Supervise receiving, storing, and shipping activities.
- Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork.
- Inspect incoming materials, ensuring quality standards.
- Enforce safety and regulatory protocols.
- Maintain orderly and sanitary warehouse conditions.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage staffing, equipment, and warehousing activities.
- Promote positive team culture and employee well-being.
Safety and Quality: Prioritize safety, resolve hazards, and enforce guidelines. Drive quality awareness, ensuring standards are met by improving operational procedures and employee behavior.
Skill/Experience Requirements:
- 5 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
- Proficient in operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets).
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Background in food storage and handling preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Pay: $30-45 an hour
