EPB Salesforce Business Analyst - CONTRACT - ON-SITE in Chattanooga, Tennessee

PURPOSE

We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic, professional, confident, articulate, and focused on providing excellent customer service and solutions.

The Salesforce Business Analyst will be part of a team responsible for delivering cloud technology solutions internally to our company and supporting external wholesale broadband partners. Your role will be multifaceted and will include requirements gathering, project scoping, configuration, testing, training, documentation, and post deployment support Knowing the Salesforce ecosystem and how system architecture is utilized to gain results is important. In this role, you will work with a small internal Salesforce advisory team to develop and deliver creative solutions to solve problems and complete projects. This role will require independent work and collaboration with customers and technical teams to create unique customer solutions leveraging the full power of the Salesforce platform.

DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES

-Work with customer(s) as well as internal teams to clearly define and document project scope, requirements, and integration points as they relate to solution implementation.

-Lead and participate in requirements gathering, design, solution architecture, configuration, and implementation efforts for client implementation projects on the Salesforce platform.

-Maintaining working knowledge of end-to-end solution, with the ability to identify, document, communicate, and mitigate risks and issues as project progresses. Create/update data dictionary, data modeling and flow diagrams as needed. Document business process/data flows.

-Work with Client stakeholders to create and manage complex process workflows, data validation and triggers.

-Create Client deliverable documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help-related materials.

-Serve as the main point of contact for clients and be the first line of support for any client questions or issues.

-Implementation and customization of customer Salesforce solution projects that potentially involves Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales CPQ, Field Lightning, Work.com and/or integrations to ensure scope and customer expectations are met.

-Work with customer management, customer subject matter experts (SMEs) and or information technology personnel to complete Salesforce implementation tasks, as required and manage integrations with other corporate systems.

-Assist with setting Salesforce implementation and process standards.

-Participate in key meetings with project stakeholders including workshops, requirement gathering sessions, solution sprint demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training.

-Learn areas of the business through shadowing, reading documentation and asking stakeholders.

-Continue growing your Salesforce certification knowledge and stay up-to-speed with the newest and best tools that work with Salesforce.

-Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.

-Communicate with developers and validate their solutions to ensure that the development meets the needs of clients.

-Will be an EPB Salesforce representative with external vendors.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, and/or a closely related field preferred.

-3+ years of hands-on experience configuring solutions using the Salesforce platform.

-2+ years of Salesforce Service Cloud administration experience.

-Experience developing Lightning components, APEX or JAVA programming, and API’s is strongly recommended.

-Demonstrated ability to capture business requirements, translate those requirements to technical/business solution options, and be able to communicate those effectively back to the customer, both from a technical aspect and from a business aspect.

-Proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas, issues, concepts and solutions to all levels of the organization, including executive leadership and the business.

-Salesforce analytics experience configuring dashboards, reports, and other reporting elements.

-Experience in all phases of the systems development life cycle.

-Prior experience in Salesforce solutions coupled with ITSM/Asset Management concepts is preferred.

-Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant and/or Service Cloud Consultant, Community Cloud, CPQ Specialist, Platform Developer I preferred.

-Experience developing and working with the ITSC concepts preferred.

-Experience with asset management for hardware and software preferred.

-Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies preferred.

-Experience with Change Management strongly preferred preferred.

-Experience working with 3rd party delivery partners and AppExchange vendors is a plus.
