Overview

CHI Memorial Stroke and Neuroscience Center offers comprehensive neurovascular services – including advanced care for stroke and cerebrovascular conditions, aneurysms, brain and spine tumors, movement and memory disorders and other neurologic conditions. Using the latest imaging technology and minimally invasive techniques, we offer innovative treatment for complex and often life-threatening health conditions.

Our multidisciplinary team of neurologists, neurointerventionalists, neurosurgeons, advanced practice providers, therapists and other specialists offer the highest quality of care for people with common and complex problems of the brain, spinal cord, and other challenging neurovascular problems. Responsibilities

Expectations

  • Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity patients

  • Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical or emergency situations

  • Medication evaluation, administration, and education specific to the patient’s custom care plan

  • Facilitate education to patients and caregivers concerning condition, treatment plan, and prevention (if appropriate)

  • Actively participate in decisions affecting your practice environment for excellence in delivering quality care to patients in intensive care

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree (ADN) in Nursing from an accredited nursing college or program

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license active with the Board of Nursing within the state you are practicing or a nursing license with eNLC practice privileges

  • One year of recent acute care experience

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

$30.00 - $43.05 /hour
