Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Service industry, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee! The role primarily focuses on processing customer and vendor invoices, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving invoice and payment discrepancies. Weekly check runs, including ad hoc batches, will also be responsibilities of the role. Additionally, it involves data entry, attention to detail, and report generation. Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate customer account records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of precision

• Generate comprehensive reports for the company

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and report creation

• Utilize Oracle for account reconciliation and invoice processing

• Conduct credit card reconciliations

• Handle high volumes of payable invoices and check runs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proven experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks quickly and accurately

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle software

• Demonstrated expertise in managing Payable Invoices

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulations

• Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills.
