Open year round, the Inn is a five-minute stroll from Chatham?s charming Main Street & within a short drive of all Cape Cod has to offer. The Human Resources Assistant assists the Director of Human Resources & Human Resources Manager in the administration of the human resources functions. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for but not limited to all administrative functions in the department as well as practicing the safekeeping of personal information & the administrative tasks within the department. This is a full-time year-round position. Assist with the administration & the enrollment of new hires in payroll system including some payroll functions such as pay rate changes, benefits deductions, vacations, sick time, & unpaid time Organizing, copying, filing, maintaining, & auditing all department records ensuring complete accuracy & confidentiality Assist in daily application processing Reviewing forms for accuracy & completeness Assist in inputting & managing background checks Assist in managing medical, dental, & life benefits Assist in preparing materials, agendas, & schedules for training classes Liaising with Payroll to ensure timely delivery of payroll records Cooperate & coordinate teamwork with other departments Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Human Resources Director & Human Resources Manager Requirements: Maintains confidentiality of employee information & proprietary data pertinent to hotel at all times 1 to 2 years of experience in Human Resources Administration or equivalent role Positive & upbeat professional demeanor Thoroughly enjoys administrative work Excellent communication skills Accurate & focused Highly organized
