Ideal for recent high school graduates or rising technical school students looking to start their career. Responsibilities * Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. * Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. * Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. * Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. * May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. * May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. Requirements: GED or High School Diploma. Preferred: Pursuing Technical Associates degree Physical Demands The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance.
