Purpose of Job This position is responsible for managing and executing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks supporting multiple facilities. Job Functions Can independently execute the following functions: basic/finish carpentry, basic electrical tasks, small equipment operation, basic plumbing tasks, physical movement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Can execute the following functions under supervision/guidance from others: lawncare, lock, key and hardware tasks, motor repair, pump repair, hospital beds, kitchen equipment, medical gas and air systems, water softening systems, domestic hot/cold water systems. Demonstrates the ability to independently troubleshoot, identify, follow up and correct a variety of building deficiencies. Coordinates assigned areas of responsibility to ensure efficient and effective operations. Performs other duties as assigned.
