University of Virginia Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Physician in Charlottesville, Virginia

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia Health System is seeking applicants for a tenure-eligible faculty position in the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The successful candidate will provide patient care at the UVA Hospitals and Outpatient Clinics. In addition to clinical services, responsibilities will include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and clinical, or translational research. Candidates with expertise in aesthetic surgery, rhinoplasty, trauma, and Mohs reconstruction are encouraged to apply.

Required qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have an MD and be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Completion of an accredited residency program, and completion or pending completion of fellowship training or extensive experience is required in the area of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Experience in a wide spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery including training in all aspects of facial plastic surgery is desired, as is a history of academic productivity. Rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications, experience, and scholarly achievement. A strong commitment to patient care and resident education is required. Research interest is preferred
