Responsibilities:

  • Open mail using both electronic and manual opening devices

  • Identify the contents of each envelope as either processable or not processable

  • Prepare processable documents for scanning

  • Put document pages in the correct order

  • Insert admin sheets as needed

  • Identify if documents are originals or copies

  • Fill out a batch cover sheet

  • Scan documents into the company's workflow system using a desktop scanner

  • Ensure that the electronic images are clear and that all pages were captured

  • Release the document into the workflow system

  • Store documents in batch boxes by date and batch number

  • Audit batch boxes for errors before securing destruction

  • Prepare electronic documents for downstream processing

  • Compare electronic image to extracted data

  • Correct, add, or delete data as needed

  • Identify and assign the correct work processing ID

  • Release the document for downstream processing

  • Research

  • Locate customer accounts and contracts, in multiple systems, using the personal identifiers supplied by the customer.

  • Read notes on accounts and contracts to determine where a document needs to be routed

    Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to pass background check, fingerprint check and credit check

  • Must be fully proficient in using the following Microsoft tools: Outlook, Word, Excel - data entry

  • Must be able to use multiple screens to navigate multiple systems/windows concurrently

  • Must be able to type 55WPM

  • Prior experience in document processing, data entry or administrative services is a plus

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working under a deadline
