Hiring for a skilled Maintenance Technician

Description:

Aerotek is hiring for a skilled welder fabricator + Fitter. This

manufacturer is currently 8 months backlogged and are still aggressively

bidding on projects. The reason that they stand out, and are performing so

well, is their unique quality control and their ability to increase production

using larger pieces of steel (subsequently lowering the amount of welding

seams). Ideal candidates will have the following:

  • Strong work ethic

  • Take pride in their work (quality is essential)

  • Ability to weld to code

  • Experience with stainless and carbon steel welding

  • Fabrication experience

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Measurement experience (for tolerance checks and assembly)

  • Ability to pass a welding test

Pay:

  • Up to $26/hr based on skill level

Shifts:

  • 1st 6:30am – 5:00pm M-TH with OT options

Skills:

  • Welding

  • Fabrication

  • Grinding

  • Metal Fabrication

  • Blueprint Reading

  • Mechanical Aptitude

  • Mig & Tig Welding Experience

  • Stainless steel

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
