Honeywell Sr IT Analyst - SCM/Warehouse Operations/Logistics in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with a solid background in business process optimization and IT solutions deployment to join our team as a Logistics IT Solutions Deployment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of integrated IT solutions for our Logistics operations (Warehousing and Transportation).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing Logistics processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into IT solutions.

  • IT Solutions Deployment: Lead the deployment of IT solutions tailored to enhance efficiency, visibility, and agility within the logistics operations. Coordinate with IT vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation within established timelines and budgets.

  • System Integration: Oversee the integration of new IT systems with existing infrastructure and applications. Develop and execute integration plans, conduct testing, and troubleshoot any issues to ensure seamless connectivity and data flow across the supply chain network.

  • Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to minimize disruptions and maximize user adoption of new IT solutions. Provide training and support to end-users, create documentation, and communicate effectively to promote understanding and acceptance of changes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics processes and IT systems performance. Proactively identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and streamlining of workflows to enhance overall operational efficiency.

  • Risk Management: Assess risks associated with IT solutions deployment and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues. Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plans, and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across departments, including supply chain management, IT, logistics, and procurement, to align IT initiatives with business objectives and priorities.

You Must have

  • 5-10 years of experience in business process optimization, IT solutions deployment, and project management, preferably within the logistics industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into actionable IT solutions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Solid understanding of supply chain management principles, including inventory management, logistics, transportation and distribution.

  • Experience with ERP systems, supply chain management software, and data analytics tools is highly desirable.

We Value

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully managing IT deployment projects from initiation to completion.

  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP), supply chain management (e.g., APICS), or IT (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
