Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the solicitation, documentation, and acquisition of sign-off on business requirements from all finance functions including technical accounting, treasury, tax, investments, and financial accounting, specifically focused on the collections and disbursements module (CD.)

  • Serve as the primary liaison with the SAP development, configuration, and quality assurance teams for the implementation and IT testing of the approved design

  • Organize the creation and execution of a comprehensive inventory of UAT test cases with a focus on the efficient use of the tester's time. Coordinate with their other responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of the Collections and Disbursements module (CD) functionalities, including broker reports, incoming and outgoing payments, account maintenance, installment plans, auto clearing, dunning, and interfacing data to (CD.)

  • Execute additional tasks as delegated, demonstrating flexibility and commitment

Requirements

  • Must be within driving distance of one of the following locations for onsite work 3 days a week: Charlotte, NC; Morristown, NJ; Purchase, NY. Would also consider: Chicago, IL; Colorado Springs, CO; Dallas, TX; Fargo, ND; Garden City, NY; Houston, TX; Jacksonville, IL; Lenexa, KS; Los Angeles, CA; Lubbock, TX; Mt Juliet, TN; New York, NY; Topeka, KS

  • 7+ years of experience in the implementation of SAP financial applications including the Collection and Disbursement Module (CD) with all sub-components

  • 4+ years in the Insurance industry

  • In-depth knowledge of the SAP S4/HANA GL and the differences versus the ECC version

  • Proven business acumen, to engage users and understand their underlying requirements

  • Success in virtual collection and finalization of business requirements, with cross-functional working groups

  • Ability to handle demanding workloads and balance multiple priorities to meet objectives

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
