The Senior Manager IT Compliance will be charged with the following responsibilities:
Responsible for perfoming IT Compliance activities as assigned to include: IT Audit workpaper creation/review, tracking of audit issues to completion, work with control owners to support SOX and SOC reporting efforts, maintain IT Compliance metric reports, and other various responsibilities.
Work closely with PwC, the Financial Controls Office (FCO), Line 1 IT Controls Team, and EAS (Equitable Audit Services) to support internal and external IT audit support is sufficient and provided in a timely manner.
Support IT Asset Inventory used in SOX, Regulatory, and Critically Compliant Audits; communicate and partner with Infrastructure to identify scope to IT partners for control performance activities.
Support efforts to partner with Infrastructure to build automation within Service Now and cloud technologies.
Works with the IT Compliance Lead Manager to perform IT Compliance Checks where necessary.
Responsible for the completion of all Critically Compliant IT Security Control Key activities.
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to meet overall IT Compliance objectives.
3-5 years of experience of laws, regulations and standards that govern Information Security practices such as SOX, FINRA, SEC and MAR Programs
3-5 years of experience in the management of IT IFC/SOX/MAR programs
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
2 years of experience in audit (preferable a Big 4 Audit firm), SOX and regulatory program management
Strong interpersonal / relationship skills, able to foster working relationships within the team, across IT and with business colleagues
Experienced in implementing necessary IT General Controls, controls mapping to requirements and testing of controls, ensuring security & integrity of corporate data.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
Requires strong analytical, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of business and technology practices and trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting deadlines and priorities under limited supervision
Experience with creation of dashboards
Experience with presenting to all levels of management
Ability to plan and execute on project plans
Knowledge of risks and risk mitigation strategies
Direct experience working with internal & external auditors on IT control management and remediation
Ability to execute and think with a strong control and process mindset
CISA or other technical certification is preferred
