Wells Fargo Senior Finance Analyst in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Digital Technology and Innovation FP&A Team. This person would lead our core reporting processes including month end close, forecasting, and planning.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead key management reporting processes including month end close, forecasting, planning, business reviews

  • Work closely with Central Technology FP&A, our CFOs, our FP&A team (US and India), and BSLs to coordinate all reporting deliverables

  • Will be main DTI point of contact for Central Tech FP&A team

  • Continue to improve reporting capabilities that meet brand and internal control standards

  • Ad hoc financial analysis and presentation support

Required:

  • 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • Relevant employment experience in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Economics

  • Relevant employment experience in financial services / banking industry

  • Strong technical skills including reporting databases and Microsoft Office (specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau)

  • General forecasting and accounting knowledge

  • Experience with Essbase, FAST, and Apptio (ITP)

  • Experience with controls compliance and documentation

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to prepare and present analysis and recommendations

  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management

  • Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing and fostering strong partnerships

  • Sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement

  • Ability to influence and partner with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
