Position: T-SQL/SAS Analytics Consultant

Location: Fully remote - however, candidates need to reside in one of the following locations: Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN; San Antonio, TX; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; St. Louis, MO; Phoenix, AZ

Contract Term: 12-24 months

Job Description:

Advise experienced leadership to develop or influence statistical modeling, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualization for complex business and technical needs . Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques, advance data from multiple sources, and mathematics behind data analysis across the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and coordination of highly complex activities. Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the enterprise. Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise. Engage with peers, managers risk, compliance, managers across the enterprise, and serve as an expert advisor to leadership team.

Required Qualifications: 7+ years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

PROJECT SCOPE:

Wells Fargo is seeking resources in the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence supporting the Remediation Analytics Teams. Primary responsibilities for this role include utilizing database knowledge and business process to perform advanced data analysis to accurately identify populations of customers that require remediation and also to calculate the refund, account adjustment or other resolution. These roles will support Home Lending, Credit Cards, Auto, Deposit/Banking, Data Operations and Personal Loans and Lines.

TOP SKILLS:

3+ years of SQL programming experience, specifically T-SQL experience

SAS experience

Teradata experience

Oracle/SQL Server experience

Demonstrated problem solving skills

Strong communication skills

REQUIRED TECHNOLOGY:

  • SQL - select statements and joining data sets

  • Hub Experience (example: 'GitHub') - Any version of control software for coding
