Release Manager to coordinate release and delivery activity for multiple Agile teams. This highly important work requires an individual with excellent communication and influencing skills and technical background. Candidate will help coordinate a unified production release between multiple teams and needs enough Technical depth to dive in where needed to help resolve issues, understand and report out issues to Executive leadership.

Other responsibilities include: Determine release readiness and managing software release dependencies.

Communicate risks associated with late code drops, defects, competing priorities, etc.

Communicate and report release status.

Provide guidance and risk mitigation for unscheduled and emergency production deployment requests. Facilitate appropriate approvals.

Coordination of release deployment activities and managing Post Release Production Validation.

Post release deployment assessment of success factors focusing on continued process improvement.

Required Skills

Previous experience in Release Management or Project Management.

strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent critical thinking/analytical skills.

strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task in a fast paced, high pressure environment.

Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle - inclusive of both traditional and agile methodologies.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Ability to successfully influence and manage teams without express hierarchical authority.
