Summary

The Project Controls Manager develops and manages all administrative aspects of the project through documentation of cost, schedule, and change order management.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Project Controls Manager will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner.   • Manages Project Cost and Schedule.

  • Responsible for completing routine aspects of project control assignments with minimal oversight.

  • Provide project controls support of new work proposal development.

  • Develop baseline cost and schedule project controls baselines utilizing industry recognized methodologies at the project bid phase; utilize during the execution phase.

  • Evaluate project execution and impact of developing trends using prescribed methodologies to determine if project is proceeding within available resources and budget.

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 8 years of related construction experience preferred and/or training including 5 years of direct scheduling and cost engineering experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have Project Controls experience in the Industrial Construction Sector. Power Plants, Petrochemical Plants, etc.

  • Primavera P6 knowledge is a must.
