TEKsystems Programming Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description:

Specialists provide direction, effective communication and outstanding customer service for contract vendors and employees in sometimes stressful situations and maintain a professional composure at all times while gathering key information about alarm systems, video systems and additional security related hardware. This company plays an essential role for our clients and in society. You will act as a liaison between the field and office personnel to ensure accurate and timely communication. A large part of the job will be communicating with our technicians to help support them while onsite fixing/troubleshooting/setting up devices. You will be communicating directly with customers along with our internal team on a regular basis. This individual will take necessary action to provide the best service possible to all customers and clients.

Answering phone queues supporting technicians and clients. The techs are generally out in the field changing the configuration of a currently monitored security system or installing a new system. This team will register cellular devices, give them account information, etc. They also have a video specialization where we have the ability to tap in video system if requested by the customer.

Volume can vary. Avg 30-35 calls/day + emails, processing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in the security/alarm industry, technical experience, call center experience

Electronic security experience is plus. Any kind of banking/monitoring systems.

Need to have customer service abilities and great communication skills, need to be resourceful, not shy, more outgoing, focused on getting the job done and providing a great solution. Need to be able to explain and calm the technicians. Attitude and soft skills are huge.
