Elite Boutique Law Firm Seeking Litigation Paralegal

Our prestigious boutique law firm client specializing in civil rights litigation is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced litigation paralegal to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique blend of substantive paralegal work, legal administrative tasks, and office management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for civil rights issues and a strong background in federal litigation.

Position: Litigation Paralegal

Salary: Competitive salary into the six figures, commensurate with experience, bonus opportunity, plus comprehensive benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Assistance: Provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from case initiation to resolution.

  • Discovery Management: Review and analyze discovery materials with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.

  • Mediation Preparation: Prepare mediation presentations and assist in organizing materials for mediation sessions.

  • Case Management: Maintain organized case files, contribute to case strategy development, and stay updated on case developments.

  • Document Management: Proofread legal documents, conduct cite-checks, and Shepardize cases as required.

  • Legal Software Utilization: Proficiency in legal software such as EverLaw and CaseMap for effective database management.

  • Office Management: Oversee office supplies inventory, coordinate with vendors, and manage day-to-day administrative tasks.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification preferred.

  • Significant experience in federal litigation, particularly in civil rights cases.

-AmLaw experience, a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Prior experience with tracking billable hours is advantageous.
