Pay Rate :

$19.73/hour (+ $0.35/hour shift premium for hours worked between 3pm-11pm and $0.25/hour shift premium for hours worked between 11pm-7am)

Retention Bonus:

$500 after 1 year of employment

Hourly Full-Time (3pm-11pm – Monday-Friday)

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Hanging and/or mounting of safety signage.

  • Painting as needed; other housekeeping duties as assigned.

  • Completes industrial hygiene functions as directed. (Minor Plumbing Repairs)

  • Participate in weekly safety meetings.

  • Operate forklifts and Aerial lifts of various types. (Boom and Scissor Lifts)

  • Use hand tools and power tools.

  • Maintain yearly Machine Safety Qualification on all equipment used on the Warehouse floor.

  • Safely replace all Machine operating supplies such as Baler Wire, Machine Tape and Strapping

  • Perform all Machine Specific Low Hazard repairs (Cleanings, PMs, Adjustments and Part Replacements)

  • Help build/repair/update fixturing for production lines.

  • Daily forklift battery changing and charging; operating and maintaining of multi-shifter battery handling system, maintaining battery charging area, creation and retention of records.

  • Completion of weekly and monthly inspections as assigned

  • Must be of reasonable mind and understanding to safely accept and complete job assignments and take direction

  • Must complete a minimum of one Safe Work Observation each month and focus on At Risk Behaviors.

  • Wear safety glasses, safety vest at all times and proper PPE gloves when dealing with wooden pallets, cutting of straps and handling corrugated materials.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of assigned work areas

  • Follow all site wide GMP policies.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • A “Safety First” mindset.

  • Ability to create and keep records, assist with training, follow procedures, and climb ladders.

  • Have the ability to complete training on first aid or other similar topics as required.

  • Must follow all safety rules and procedures; watch out for safety of self and others at all times; always follow lock out and tag out procedures; always use personal protective equipment.

  • Must possess a valid powered industrial operator’s permit or obtain one through training.

  • Must be able to complete, pass, and maintain all forklift certification requirements, as well as demonstrate knowledge and proven use of forklift safety and operational rules and regulations.

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as necessary.

  • Ability to lift 1-30lbs on a daily basis and up to 50lbs on an infrequent basis

  • Ability to get on and off of forklifts

  • Good safety and attendance record

  • Constant standing, walking, and sitting; frequent twisting, bending, and lifting from the ground; occasional reaching and crouching.

  • A comprehension level to add and subtract all units of measure, to read and copy figures, or count and record figures.

  • Comprehension to apply common sense understanding, to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to communicate effectively.
