Senior Paralegal - Mergers & Acquisitions

Location: Charlotte, NC

As a Senior Paralegal - Mergers and Acquisitions, at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team and corporate M&A team in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions transactions. You will be responsible for conducting due diligence, drafting and reviewing legal documents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in M&A transactions and attention to detail will be essential in driving successful outcomes for Honeywell.

You will report directly to our General Counsel – Corporate Transactions and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the organization by providing critical support to our legal team and contributing to the successful execution of M&A transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and conduct limited due diligence for M&A transactions

• Draft and review corporate legal documents typical of a paralegal, with the supervision of the General Counsel – Corporate Transactions

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including finance, tax, and HR teams, to ensure smooth execution of transactions

• Assist in managing external legal counsel and other advisors involved in M&A transactions

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the M&A process

YOU MUST HAVE

• 4+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions

• Strong knowledge of M&A transaction processes and legal requirements

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
