Digital Product Strategy & Acceleration is part of Commercial and Go-to-Market team in Wealth Management Product & Experience. The team's mandate is to lead Go-to-Market strategy and quickly test innovative ideas across different product areas, including using advanced technologies. We build the strategic vision, work cross functions to develop proof-of-concepts, and lead broader go-to-market & commercial initiatives to bring ideas to market.

Job Summary:

The Senior Product Associate will play a pivotal role in different strategic initiatives around digital product go-to-market. The role is perfect for individuals who are not only excited about the latest technology and trends but also possess strong capabilities of problem solving, strategic thinking, multi-tasking, communication, and collaboration with various businesses and functional areas across J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product manager and other stakeholders to define product strategy, business value, MVP scope based on customer insights and market research

  • Act as thought leader on the product design and execution while maintaining keen awareness of industry landscape

  • Prepare strategic material on different topics of the product for senior executive review, including presentations for regular business reviews; develop and/or monitor OKR performance and provide financial forecasting

  • As needed, support product by standing up new teams to manage emerging integrations and dependencies

  • Drive change management and field readiness processes in advance of Pilot and General Audience release

  • Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product features

  • Communicate effectively across functions and levels about product vision, timeline, deliverables, etc.

  • Demonstrate self-motivation and a commitment to acquiring new knowledge and technology trends

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services or digital product management, preferably with experience in wealth management, financial planning, asset management, digital banking, or a closely related business managing strategic or transformational change

  • Passionate about learning new trends in the industry and on constant look out for AI evolvement

  • Experience being part of a delivery team that spans multiple work streams with varying timelines, priorities and complexities, ultimately launching a new / enhanced product to market

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, say 'no' when required, and ensure our organization is on track to execute against product roadmap and deliver strategic change that meets our goals

  • Ability to execute via successful internal partnerships with other organizations. Contribute by sharing diverse points of view and help build consensus

  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills

  • Highly self-motivated and takes initiative, able to excel and remain composed amid ambiguity

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • "Self-starter" with ability to manage modules and problem solve with certain level of guidance

  • Demonstrates leadership skills in working with team members, partners and others

  • M.B.A. or graduate degree in relevant field desired

  • Previous experience in management consulting and digital product desired
