Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $27 - $34 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Top Candidates are responsible for evolving by learning basis day to day NEC code compliance installations.

  • Responsible for referencing NEC as needed to address code compliance issues in the field.

  • Reviewing plans, understanding, laying out, and executing to complete daily tasks.

  • Responsible for their safety and the safety of everyone around.

  • Responsible for a clean and organized work area.

  • Understanding electrical drawings along with all other disciplines to complete their scope of work.

  • Set up and utilize electrical tools and equipment such as table top benders, smart benders, power ponies, hogs head, wire tuggers, wire monkeys, heap-vac systems, meggers/torque wrenches/screwdrivers.

  • Maintaining tools and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order

  • Performing semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment

  • Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code

Qualifications:

  • Must have non expired form of Identification

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area

  • Perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multimeter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action

  • Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite

  • References that will verify your professional skills and experience
