The Functional tester will work for a Functional SME experienced in the client’s processes. The Tester will be expected to grow into the role and take ownership of a specific area. Communication skills are imperative, as this role includes conversations with both the client’s business drivers and developers. Responsibilities will include:
Requirements gathering Documenting the design/approach, test prep and execution Integrating tests into automated test environment Assisting with post-deployment support
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a functional tester Knowledge of test methodologies in an agile environment is highly preferred Hands on experience in test management tools like HP ALM, Rally or JIRA Strong problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
