PeopleReady Excavator Operator in Charlotte, North Carolina
We are seeking an Excavator Operator for a long term positoin in Concord, NC. Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check and MVR. A valid drivers license is also required. Hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Note: The pay rate for this job is $21 - $25 /hour
Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights Excavators w/ Hydraulic
Thumbs Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
Bring problems to the attention of the Project Manager, Safety Director, or Human Resources Manager as needed.
Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in equipment training.
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to supervisor; clean equipment.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in operating heavy equipment
Sufficient education to make appropriate arithmetic equations and complete written documentation; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics.
