PeopleReady Excavator Operator in Charlotte, North Carolina

We are seeking an Excavator Operator for a long term positoin in Concord, NC. Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check and MVR. A valid drivers license is also required. Hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Note: The pay rate for this job is $21 - $25 /hour

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights Excavators w/ Hydraulic

  • Thumbs Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.

  • Bring problems to the attention of the Project Manager, Safety Director, or Human Resources Manager as needed.

  • Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in equipment training.

  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to supervisor; clean equipment.

 Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in operating heavy equipment

  • Sufficient education to make appropriate arithmetic equations and complete written documentation; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics.
