TEKsystems Enterprise Middleware Integration Engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina

TEKsystems is seeking Enterprise Middleware Integration Engineers with the following skills:

8+ years of hands-on experience at scale on Middleware web, application servers (Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, IIS, IBM WAS, Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, Nginx, etc.) administration performing activities build, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, deploys, configuring, patching and compliance.

8+ Experience in Application Production Support in Linux and Windows platforms.

Proven experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell/Bash, JavaScript)

2+ years Working knowledge of application monitoring tool like Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus.

The role is fully on-site per the request of the end customer.

Description:

Enterprise Database Management is the CoE for database management for our customer.

• Outline and implement product upgrades.

• Contribute to the analysis of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.

• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices.

• Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business.

• Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design, and test solutions.

• Generate documentation, operational policies, and procedures, as well as documentation.

• Employ monitoring tools, such as Grafana, for business application and operations teams.

• Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.

• Direct daily Risk and Control flow of Compliance, focusing on policies and procedures.

• Design complex system upgrades.

• Ensure the KPIs for Compliance are met monthly for Patching, Remediation and Certificates

• Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring.

• Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success.

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including leadership.

• Strong team or technical leadership experience Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• 12+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience at scale on Middleware web, application servers (Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, IIS, IBM WAS, Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, Nginx, etc.) administration performing activities build, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, deploys, configuring, patching and compliance.

• 8+ Experience in Application Production Support in Linux and Windows platforms.

• 2+ years Working knowledge of application monitoring tool like Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus.

• Proven experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell/Bash, JavaScript)

• Hands on experience with Ansible playbook execution.

• Experience with deployment automation tools (Git, Ansible, Jenkins)

• Hands on experience on SSL certificate management using Venafi.

• Hands on experience on AppDynamics and Splunk.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills in all Middleware products.

• Expertise in JVM performance tuning and dumps analyze.
