Actalent Electrical Engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description:

  • Review contract specifications and identify the scope of work for electrical and automation jobs.

  • Generate lists of company documents that reflect the documents requested in the technical specifications, and ensure they are necessary to comply with the scope of work for the project.

  • Generate purchase specifications, bills of materials and collect component datasheets.

  • Verify the suppliers' offers and validate that they technically comply with what was requested within the project specifications.

  • Make visits to the site to collect the information necessary to complete project designs.

  • Commission and troubleshoot electrical components

  • Review electrical and instrumentation diagrams.

  • Design and draft electrical control systems in AutoCAD Electrical

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • BS degree in electrical engineering.

  • 5+ years' experience preferred.

  • Associate’s degree with 5-10 years electrical experience may be acceptable

-Open to domestic travel up to 30%
