Mobile Communications America Director, FP&A in Charlotte, North Carolina

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced FP&A Director in Charlotte, NC; Spartanburg, SC; Arlington or Houston, TX to support our growing C entral team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support short-term and long-term business planning.

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify key performance indicators and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, and provide insights on business performance.

  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, such as revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow, and provide regular updates to management.

  • Drive the annual planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.

  • Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

  • Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Proven work experience as an impact athlete in FP&A or similar role

  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques.

  • Proficient in financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial planning software. Tableau is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience in strategic financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

  • Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to take initiative and create concise and decision-supporting analysis is essential

  • High degree of integrity and honesty. Must maintain confidentiality at all times, as this position requires high level of responsibility regarding confidential information

  • M&A integration experience a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
