Description:

Engages with business partners to analyze, implement, and update processes by utilizing sound process improvement models and techniques. Manages design or redesign of processes or projects. Integrates best practices with process design to ensure continuous process improvement. Builds action plans and drives execution. May manage teams to achieve process or project objectives. Processes are within a product or service delivery within a single business unit or department and are typically directed toward improving a single business, product, or function.

Operational Analyst responsible for defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions. Capable of defining application problems by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes. Validates results by testing programs. Ensures operations by training client personnel and internal staff and providing support. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. Provides reference by writing documentation. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques while effectively communicating with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of system analyst experience

Technical expertise regarding troubleshooting, hardware/software requirements

• Strong knowledge of and experience with hard/ware software architecture

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Understanding of technology change and support processes

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong problem solving skills

• Strong consulting skills

• Process improvement

• Networking knowledge

• Power user of MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
