Building on its outstanding portfolio breadth Siemens Energy supports customers around the world with innovative BESS solutions to help them master the challenges of energy transitions. But honestly, we can’t do it alone. Redefining energy systems requires you to play a part!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Developing stationary BESS projects from the first idea in customers mind until contract signature.

  • Growing existing sales channels and explore new sales channels as well as preparing the sales strategy for projects including pricing.

  • Carrying out pre-qualifications and provide budget offers.

  • Close cooperation with SE business development and sales partners, associated engineering, tender and project execution departments to develop winning solutions.

  • Successfully closing contracts together with relevant internal stakeholders and partners.

  • Building up and maintaining our relationships by making frequent visits to our worldwide customers' decision makers and cooperating with our regional organization providing local support and customer intimacy.

  • As a technical sales expert, you will also consistently monitor market developments and maintain and expand an opportunity pipeline.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years' experience, master's degree in electrical engineering or industrial engineering.

  • Long-term sales experience in the power sector.

  • Technical knowledge in the field of battery energy storage will be an absolute plus.

  • Willingness for international travel and visits to customers sites for up to 30%.

  • Experience in leading teams across country borders.

  • Proficiency in English. Additional languages are an upside.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
