TEKsystems API Technical Writer in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description:

This person will be working closely with the Controls team (security), Architecture team, Analyst team, Engineering team, and Product team and to write and document standard processes for the API Management Team through a mixture of current processes and brand new ones. They should be able to strongly understand API lifecycle management and translate conversations into correct documentation. They also need to be able to understand what a certain policy is talking about to be able to document.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

The technical writer will be responsible for documenting controls, findings, policies, and processes related to API enablement. They will work closely with partners and internal teams, primarily the product teams reporting up. Must-haves for the role include strong communication skills, understanding of technology, API lifecycle management, and experience with API governance and security. The technical writer will spend 50-60% of their time on documentation, 30-40% working with cross-functional internal teams, and 10% on team meetings and miscellaneous tasks.
