Senior Project Manager Remote - USA,USA Senior Regulatory Project Manager Job Overview: As a Senior Regulatory Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in the banking sector, you will be instrumental in steering complex projects from inception to completion. You will be required to have exceptional skills in data review, documentation, risk management, data governance and process improvement. We are seeking a a track record of success in managing longer-term assignments on a global scale. This pivotal role requires strategic vision, leadership, and the ability to provide tangible examples of successfully completed projects as you will play a crucial role in optimizing project efficiency, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities: • Requirements Documentation: • Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering sessions with team members or stakeholders to assist in the defining project objectives and deliverables. • Utilize a variety of tools to document and communicate project requirements effectively. Risk Management and RAID Logs: • Implement robust risk management strategies, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans. • Maintain and regularly update RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs to track and manage project-related risks. • Process Evaluation and Improvement: • Evaluate existing processes within areas like AML/BSA banking domain, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains. • Provide recommendations for process enhancements to streamline operations and increase productivity. Data Governance: • Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures across projects. • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices. • Collaborate with data stewards and other stakeholders to define and maintain data quality standards. Project Documentation Review: • Conduct thorough reviews of project documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards. • Collaborate with teams to address any discrepancies or gaps in project documentation. Success Metrics and Reporting: • Establish clear success metrics for long-term projects, providing regular updates to stakeholders. • Compile comprehensive project reports showcasing successful project completions with quantifiable results. Deadline Management: • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines. • Proactively identify potential delays and implement strategies to keep projects on track. Budget and Resource Allocation: • Manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources. • Provide oversight of financial aspects of projects, addressing any budgetary concerns promptly. Technology Tools for Project Management: • Expertise in utilizing project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Agile or similar platforms with a focus on innovative solutions for improved project efficiency. • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, or others for efficient team communication Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration • Must have a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in project management within the banking industry. • Strong expertise in requirements gathering and documentation using various tools, especially in the context of data projects. • In-depth knowledge of RAID log management, and risk mitigation strategies and incorporation them into RAID logs. • Strong knowledge of data governance principles and documentation, data privacy regulations, and industry standards. • Track record of evaluating and improving processes for increased efficiency. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage projects within budget constraints.
