West Virginia Employer Evening Shift Logistics Lead - Charleston, WV in Charleston, West Virginia

Job Description The Logistics Lead is responsible for evening shift management of warehouse workers and oversight of processes related to the movement, storage, control, and protection of all related donated goods. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Leads work of team members during each shift, ensuring that production goals and quality standards are met. Trains and instructs employees in proper warehouse procedures and protocols. Moves delivery trucks and trailers around premises for purposes of loading and unloading. Moves goods throughout the warehouse. Moves finished goods to proper area. Moves and loads salvage goods. Receives deliveries to warehouse. Loads trailers or trucks as directed. Operates pallet jack and forklift as necessary. Moves trash to appropriate area from work cells. Prepares E-waster and other aftermarket salvage for recycling. Trains and certifies employees on forklift when needed. Practices good safety measures and habits. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED and minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience in DOT regulations, warehousing, retail operation, and distribution, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have safe driving record and be able to obtain Class D drivers license upon employment. Additional Information Beginning rate of pay is $16 per hour. Full-time, evening shift position.
