HOURLY WAGE: $12.00 ************************************************** SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Possess knowledge of office methods, procedure, and equipment, knowledge of business English, spelling, and arithmetic, ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public, ability to learn quickly and to understand and follow oral and written instructions. ************************************************** NATURE OF WORK Under general supervision of the Customer Relations section, employee will serve as a Customer Service Representative and will be instrumental in providing support for the Hunting and Fishing License sales team, Wonderful West Virginia magazine team, Mail room operations, and for the Front Desk Agent/Receptionist. Duties include, but not limited to: primary point of contact with public requests which include phone calls, correspondence, and emails. Will provide access to the building and determine the purpose of the visit, provide the requested assistance or direct visitors to the appropriate staff. Working knowledge of Natural Resources laws, rules and regulations with an ability to direct the inquiry to proper staff person. Provide breaks for team members. Performs routine mail processing related tasks with some heavy lifting required up to 40 lbs. Operates a personal computer terminal using standard commands to enter, access and update or manipulate data. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, keen attention to detail and the ability to excel in a multitask environment. Performs all related duties as required. A valid driver's license is required. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. |
