Cayuse Holdings Business Development Analyst in Charleston, West Virginia

Overview

The Business Development Analyst utilizes resources to support revenue-generation staff to become both knowledgeable and proficient in account management and support through Deltek GovWinIQ. All duties and responsibilities will be performed by the Business Intelligence Analyst per the Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Use of business development for greater account and opportunity knowledge

  • Development of detailed / comprehensive account plans for each Business Development staff member

  • Updating our pipeline tools for registering and developing new opportunities

  • Business Intelligence Research that supports the Opportunity Gate Review Process

  • Reaching a gate threshold process that provides enough intelligence for a concise BNB decision by management

  • Application of a CRM tool to retain and maintain key account information

  • Business Intelligence Development/Usage

  • Working with management to prioritize business and information needs

  • Detailed Account Planning

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year Degree from Accredited University

  • Two years’ Work Experience in a Field Conducting Research, analytics, and customer service

  • Experience with Government Contracting

  • Expert Internet Navigation Skills

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of GSA EBuy, Deltek GovWinIQ, SAM, Seaport NXG, and other procurement sites preferred

  • Working knowledge of consulting services, information technology, and project-oriented work; knowledge of the Federal market is a plus

  • Work with and identify all contracting officers & contract specialists at your identified customers to engage/market directly, introduce our services/capabilities

  • Ability to understand how our competitors are performing to look for ways to unseat them

  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Ability to collaborate, organize and lead teams

  • Ability to use sound judgment to plan and accomplish project goals.

  • Membership in a Federally Recognized American Indian Tribe (preference given to Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation), Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian a plus

  • Must be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite of tools including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Possess excellent planning, time management and prioritization skills.

  • Expert communicator and a strong writer including good command of the English language.

  • Shall have the requisite skills, expertise, and experience to perform the requirements of each task. Must be extremely detail-oriented and well organized.

Working Conditions

  • Professional office environment.

  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties while standing for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.

  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.

  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.

  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.

  • May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
