The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations. This role primarily involves leading and nurturing a team of employees to efficiently carry out their daily duties while upholding elevated standards for food quality, service excellence, and health and safety practices. Additionally, the Assistant Manager assists in ensuring accurate product preparation, managing inventory, personnel supervision, and driving sales and marketing initiatives. Conducting prep work and identifying operational needs. Providing training to team members. Overseeing cash handling and bank deposits. Placing food and beverage orders. Daily oversight and completion of checklists. Availability for a full-time schedule (40 hours per week). Assisting in conducting interviews. Conducting weekly inventories. Assisting in creating weekly schedules. Daily monitoring of food cost and labor percentages. Ensuring food meets our quality standards. Maintaining a noticeably friendly service environment.
